Panther Youth Football: Building the Future of North Central Football

Prepared by Chad Spann

I am committed to expanding and strengthening North Central’s youth football program, ensuring that every young athlete in Washington Township has the opportunity, resources, and coaching to develop their skills and compete at the highest level.

With the foundation set by Panther Youth Sports, including the Winter Academy and Youth Tackle Football League, I am dedicated to taking the next step by implementing a year-round development plan that aligns seamlessly with North Central High School football.

As an ambassador for the Paul Loggan Foundation, I will actively support fundraising efforts that directly impact the growth and success of our youth football program. My partnership with the Paul Loggan Foundation will help provide young athletes with elite coaching, high-quality resources, and expanded opportunities to compete and develop.

Expanding Youth Football: More Teams, More Opportunities

To strengthen the future of Panther Football, I am committed to growing our youth program by:

  • Expanding to More Grade Levels: Increasing participation opportunities for younger athletes to introduce fundamental skills earlier.

  • Creating More Teams: Developing additional teams at each grade level to allow more players to compete and refine their skills.

  • Enhancing Player Development: Providing structured training and coaching at every level to ensure young athletes are prepared for middle school and high school football.

  • Aligning With High School Standards: Ensuring that youth players are learning the same schemes, techniques, and terminology as the high school program for a seamless transition.

This expansion will create a stronger, more competitive youth league that ensures every athlete has a clear pathway to success in North Central Football.

Creating a Clear Pathway to High School Football

I am committed to ensuring that youth football players in Washington Township have a structured skill development path that mirrors the techniques, terminology, and expectations of North Central High School football.

  • Unified Playbook and Coaching System: Youth coaches will be trained in the same schemes, drills, and fundamentals as the high school staff to create consistency from youth leagues to varsity football.

  • Regular Clinics with High School Coaches: Young athletes will have opportunities to work directly with my coaching staff to refine their skills and understand the expectations at the next level.

  • Player Tracking & Progression System: I will establish benchmarks at every stage of development, ensuring that athletes are prepared for middle school, high school, and beyond.

With this approach, Panther Youth Football will be fully aligned with North Central High School football, providing young players with a direct path to success.
